RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

THE AUTONOMICS CLINIC 2025-present

Founder and Clinical Director

Clinical Director of functional neurology clinic focused on autonomic physiology. The Autonomics Clinic treats clinical autonomic cases as either primary or adjunct clinical home. We consult on complex neurological disorders with a primary autonomic component. We work clinically utilizing proprietary autonomic diagnostics technologies, our proprietary foundation model of Autonomics, and various non-invasive therapeutic and naturalistic approaches to the resolution of allostatic loads. We are known for successfully treating neurological cases that allopathetic medicine has been unable to treat successfully.

  • Successfully documented treatment of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

  • Successfully documented resolution of multiple vestibular impairment cases

  • Successfully documented resolution of multiple cases where neurobiological sequelae of early childhood adversity led to systemic impairment

EDUCATION

Candidly, despite having attended Stanford and Yale Universities, I have had a very hard time finding the trans-disciplinary mentoring and support that I need through traditional academic programs, and have therefore actively sought out and pursued mentors for the past 15 years. Some of these have been more formal mentorships, some less formal, but all have deeply shared the way that I approach my work, problems, and life in general. They are, in aggregate, more responsible for my education than a particular institution:

Dr. Nadine Burke Harris MD MPH FAAP, Formerly First Surgeon General of California

Stephen Porges, PhD, Developer of the Polyvagal Theory

Darcia Narvaez, PhD, Author of Neurobiology and the Development of Human Morality

Tiokasin Ghosthorse, Lakota Earth and Peace Activist, Founder of the Akantu Institute

Ilarion Merculieff, Unangan (Aleut), President of the Global Center for Indigenous Leadership & Lifeways

Lee Mun Wah, Documentary Film-maker of The Color of Fear; Master Mindfulness and Diversity trainer

Jeffrey Bronfman, Ecological Activist and Psychedelic Ethics

John Stokes, Founder of the Tracking Project, Deep Nature Awareness, Cultural Practices

Adam Johnson, PhD, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award

Dr. Karla Scott, PhD, Rainbow Markell, Pete Erschen MS: Anti-Racism

STIRFRY SEMINARS, Berkeley, California

Yearlong Mindful Facilitation Certification Program with Lee Mun Wah, 2020
